Bullets Vol. 2

Clean out your ears and prepare to Listen, Booth readers; you’re not gonna want to miss a single syllable of 20/20 and Poise‘s latest single. Fresh off making their debut with last month’s reader-acclaimed Blue Dream, the Austin, Texas twosome return to our pages with a fresh mixtape inclusion that finds them taking aim at the whole damn hip-hop game. 20/20 cooks up a beat sure to get sample heads listening close; in addition to flipping Donna Summer’s Sweet Romance as the backbone of his instrumental, he taps Slick Rick‘s Treat Her Like a Prostitute for the record’s outro. Likewise, Poise comes with a lyrical message rappers would do well to heed, mixing braggadocious battle rhymes with wise advice for his peers in the industry. Bullets Vol. 2 as yet lacks a drop date, but those feeling Listen can, of course, count on the Booth to deliver the latest news and tunes.
