Bust out the long-stemmed glasses and dig up that bottle of champagne you’ve been saving. What’s the occasion, you ask? Well, if you really need a reason to Drink and Celebrate on a lazy Sunday (Lazy for you, anyway, I’m on my grind.), how about the fact that 360‘s alive, well and making big moves in the music game? The final leak off his forthcoming street album, this exultant jam finds the Queens representative raising a toast to good times, great friends and ever-growing stacks of cash. Dark Nyte defies his moody moniker on the production tip, flipping a lush soul sample into an appropriately breezy, upbeat backdrop for bars tracing the emcee’s journey from flipping bricks on the corner to rocking sold-out shows. On the contrary, everybody in the house benefits from his prosperity: “Feelin’ good / Here’s a shot for each and every one of you.” The perfect soundtrack to your next backyard shindig, this celebratory jam is just one of many bangers to be found on 360’s independent debut album, Everywhere and Back. Watch for the project to hit the net this Tuesday, April 3.
