6lack & Twelve’Len - Pretty Weather

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Zach Fogarty
Album:
6:12 EP

After months of snow and cold, I am happy to report that I am penning this feature blurb on my porch, while enjoying the Pretty Weather. Of course, the only way to really enjoy the first nice days of the year is to have a dope soundtrack. Enter 6lack and Twelve’Len. While their shared single might sound like it’s about sunshine and 70-degree days, it’s really about that special someone who makes the great weather that much better. 6lack and Twelve’Len share a similar style; both have a unique, sung-rapped approach that perfectly complements this record’s beat. As Zach Fogarty‘s shrouded instrumental, driven by a triumphant rhythm section, drifts along, the collaborators croon right along with it, imbuing this laid-back, yet lively tune with the perfect ambiance. Pretty Weather is one of two new cuts on the pair’s Valentine’s Day EP release, 6:12. The EP is the prelude to 6lack’s debut project, Six, due out later this year.
