Action Figures ft. Guilty Simpson - Hey MuthaF*Cka

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Statik Selektah
Album:
Powers Mixtape

Only in rap can you greet someone with an upraised middle finger and a “Hey MotherF*CKa!” and be welcomed with open arms. At least, that’s the attitude the Action Figures cop on their latest feature, and I have a feeling our readers will be too busy appreciating the Grand Rapids reppers’ dynamic flows to take offense. Part of the duo’s next mixtape, this joint finds partners-in-rhyme Kysean Bell and MarQ Beyond waxing defiant over production by Booth favorite Statik Selektah. As usual, the Boston representative has his sample game locked down tight; his beat boasts an atmospheric loop of Norma Winstone’s jazz ballad, A Timeless Place, as well as some old-school cuts. Motown mic-murderer Guilty Simpson delivers a hard-hitting guest 16. Fans will be able to find MothaF*CKa, the previously-featured Jumanji and much more on the Figures’ Powers mixtape, dropping digitally in the near future.
