Action Figures - Homebound

Producer:
Young RJ
Album:
None (Promo Single)

When you’re pursuing a big dream, it’s often the people from your own ‘hood who’ll be quickest to discourage you. (Just ask Jesus.) Regardless, there’s no place quite like home. On new single Homebound, Grand Rapids’s Action Figures explore their complex, contradictory feelings toward the streets that made them the men, and the artists they are today. Slum Village‘s Young RJ provides a keyboard-led beat to accompany MarQ Beyond and KeySean Bell‘s ambitious, reflective bars. This joint isn’t part of a larger album, but we’ll keep you posted on this talented twosome’s plans as further details emerge.
