Actual Proof ft. Median & Bluu Suede - Callin’ Me

Featuring:
Producer:
E. Jones
Album:

Do you hear that? Low-frequency hum, kinda like a faraway hive of bumblebees? That’s the sound of tuned-in hip-hop heads buzzing over the new, DJBooth.net-sponsored street album from North Carolina duo Actual Proof. For those not quite ready to join in the chorus, we present one last leak off the freshly-released project. On Callin Me, a chilly, headphone-ready beat by E. Jones set the mood as Enigma and Sundown survey the “long road” that still lies between them and hip-hop superstardom. In contrast to the headliners’ iron-clad focus on their grind, fellow First in Flight State representative Median lets his mind—and his eyes—want on his poetically lecherous guest 16: “Oldie but goodie, chocolate pudding / Should she walk past, I’m lookin’ at her ass..” Los Angeles crooner Bluu Suede rounds out the lineup, tying the track together with his glittering vocal harmonies on the hook. So, has this joint convinced you to hop on the Actual Proof bandwagon? Then drop whatever you’re doing and click here to stream/download the duo’s freshly-released Still Hotter Than July LP.
