9th Wonder

Add-2 may be a new name to some ears, but it’s a name you need to familiarize yourself with. Already co-signed by veteran emcee Common, Add-2 has hooked up with another legendary artist to drop the single for his upcoming project, Save.Our.Souls. Flying out to North Carolina to work with one of the 9th Wonders of the world (see what I did there?), the Windy City native presents his latest single Going, Going Gone. From 9th’s trademark soulfully sampled beat and the vocal accompaniment of songstress Deejay Juice, Add’s lyrically astute verses have plenty of talented company.  In a generation dominated by banging club beats, it’s reassuring to hear the proverbial breath of fresh air that Add and 9th provide. We all like to party (some more than other), but sometimes you just want to relax and listen to some real lyricism backed by a smooth string-enhanced instrumental. Although this isn’t the first time 9th and Add have been on a track together, this may be there best to date, and if you agree you’ll definitely want to keep an ear out for S.O.S., coming soon.
