Aiden Grimshaw - The Way We Are

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Dimitri Tikovoi

An English singer/songwriter introduced to audiences across the pond via the seventh season of The X Factor, Aiden Grimshaw makes his first appearance on our pages with freshly-released loosie The Way We Are. Here, a chilly synth-pop groove by French beatsmith Dimitri Tikovoi (who also co-wrote the record) sets the mood as Grimshaw showcases his vocal chops in mournful, emotionally-charged verses and a soaring chorus. When Aiden first took the stage on UK television, Simon Cowell reacted to his performance by exclaiming, “Now that’s what I call a pop star!” Has his debut DJBooth feature left you similarly impressed? If so, keep it locked for further details on his next project, a five-track EP created in collaboration with Tikovoi and scheduled for release this fall.
