A.J. Crew - 6:10pm

A.J. Crew

By the time 6:10pm rolls around, dinner is usually the most prominent topic on my mind. A.J. Crew, on the other hand, is fully focused on his weed and his paper chase—just like he is during the other 1,349 minutes of the day. On the final world premiere off his forthcoming, DJBooth-hosted street album, the Windy City buzzmaker narrates his blunted reflections during that brief window of time between the daily grind and the night shift. A self-produced, H-Town Screw-inspired beat backs him as he blocks out the haters and contemplates his ongoing quest to conquer the game. For this joint, previous singles Don’t Ask Me (Crafty) and Breathe Here and much more, check out A.J.‘s The Reality of It All tape tomorrow, when it hits our front page for free streaming and download.
