Alexander Spit - Bitter Suite Symphony

Whether it’s fond memories from family trips or simply the fact that I don’t have to clean up after myself, I’ve always found hotel stays fun and relaxing. Alexander Spit is a different story; according to new promo single Bitter Suite Symphony, temporary lodging sends the Bay Area rapper/producer into a murderous rage. Yeah, I don’t get it, either—but that didn’t prevent me from vibing out to the record, which finds Alexander delivering hedonistic, borderline maniacal bars over his own slow-rolling rhythm section and brooding synth-string ambiance. There’s been no word yet on Spit’s plans for 2014, but fans can, of course, stay tuned to The DJBooth for further details as they emerge.
