Allen Poe ft. Basement Up & Von Pea - Gina

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Nemo Achida
Album:

An underground buzzmaker hailing from Kentucky’s capital (that’s Frankfort, for those of y’all who didn’t have to memorize the state capitals in middle school), Allen Poe makes his DJBooth debut with single numero uno off his next independent full-length. A nostalgic ode to first love, this breezy cut depicts the rhymesayer’s tentative romance with a girl named Gina. Joining the headliner over the mellow sample work of Lexington rapper/producer Nemo Achida (who dropped off his latest single, Slave to the Wave, last Friday), the headliner is joined on the mic by Tanya Morgan member Von Pea and Bluegrass State hip-hop trio Basement Up. Have you fallen head-over-heels for Gina? If so, keep it locked for all the latest leading up to the Fall release of Allen Poe’s new album, Pocket Full of Ohms, via HiPNOTT Records.
