Anthony Flammia - Round & Round

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Anthony Flammia & Norman O.
Album:
Ups & Downs

Last fall, unsigned crooner Anthony Flammia introduced himself to our pages with I Want You Back, a record that managed to impress our readership despite sharing a title with one of, in my humble opinion, the greatest songs of all time. Well, that joint’s “classic feel” (as one reader put it) was no fluke. New single Round & Round packs an equally compelling combo of old-school craftsmanship and new-school pop savvy. Over a rich, piano-led beat produced by the artist in conjunction with Norman O., Flammia reflects on his tumultuous relationship with his girl in irreverent, yet soulfully sincere verses. The profanity-riddled skits interspersed throughout the jam add to its casual, comedic charm. Like what you’re hearing? More fresh, relatable R&B goodness awaits on Ups & Downs, due out digitally in June.
