Anti-Lilly - A Million Stories

Memoirs & The 90's

Ice Cube once rapped about a Good Day he lived back in the early 90s, a day when the Lakers beat the Supersonics and momma cooked breakfast with no hog. Unfortunately, Anti-Lilly did not have that day, but then we wouldn’t have the gem that is his first DJBooth feature, A Million Stories. Produced by LA Beatz, A Million Stories is a mellow track with haunting synths where Anti tells us about the worst day in recorded history. During this day the City of Syrup emcee gets sent home from work, misses his exit, and sees James Harden get ejected from a ballgame. The day progressively gets worse as BK messes up his order and someone hits a lick on him, only to find himself locked out of his house. In essence, the day sucked and Anti-Lilly hates the world. Well, not really, but I’m glad he recorded the story; he has me intrigued to find out what happens next. Hopefully we’ll get to hear it on his upcoming mixtape, Memoirs& The 90s, due out soon.
