Apache Chief - Face in the Clouds

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Matty C Beats and Justin Donnie
Album:
You Have My Attention

When most people look for shapes in the clouds, they find a variety of animals, people and objects. When Apache Chief gazes skyward, though, all he sees is a certain woman who’s no longer in his life. A promo single attached to a forthcoming project release, Face in the Clouds sees the Upstate New York representative struggling fruitlessly to escape from his memories of the girl in question: “I gave everything I had to forget how it felt / To forget the rush I felt, to forget how you smelled.Matty C Beats and Justin Donnie join forces to create the joint’s melancholy pop-rock backdrop, and an uncredited female vocalist handles the hook. This poignant cut will be placed on the currently-unscheduled You Have My Attention LP. While you wait you can always take a listen to Apache’s last feature, January’s Spending It All.

Update: We have added a lyric video for Apache Chief’s Face in the Clouds single.
