Fire Walk With Me

I don’t know about y’all, but Sunday felt like Christmas to me. I mean, I got to watch football all day (this feeling continued into Monday night’s double header of games). I guess Christmas comes but twice a year because Apathy, in my opinion one of the most underrated emcees in the game, just released two new projects: double album, Fire Walk With Me, which features heavy hitters such as Nas, Royce Da 5’9, and MURS just to name a few, and The Alien Tongue, a rare demo collection. Tell Me is a standout selection from Fire Walk With Me and is a great place to start as you begin to sift through Apathy’s truck load of new content. The self-produced cut features a fluttery, head-nodding beat and the rough around the edges flow of Apathy and his Demigodz associates Motive and Celph Titled. If you are feeling this, and it’s hard not to, then you should check out both Fire Walk With Me and The Alien Tongue. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to hibernate until I have listened to both. See you in six months…
