Archie Bang - Rewind

Producer:
Sargon the Great
Album:

When the sun is up, Flatbush is a welcoming inner-city community. Like many B.K. ‘hoods, though, it transforms into a different beast come nightfall. On new single Rewind, the East Coast buzzmaker invites listeners to join him on a nocturnal tour of his home streets, home to scarier sights than anything you’re likely to glimpse at your local haunted house. Sargon the Great crafts a pensive boom-bap beat to back Bang’s harrowing block talk, flipping a sample from Mobb Deep‘s classic The Start Of Your Ending (41st Side) on the hook. Fans will be able to find this moody jam and many more bangers on Archie’s next mixtape, Never Say Die, Vol. 1 (80’s Babies). The project currently lacks a drop date, but we’ll keep you posted as further details emerge.
