A$AP Rocky ft. Gesaffelstein - In Distress

Album:
The Divergent Soundtrack

No big ticket movie release is complete until you’ve had a preview of the soundtrack. I mean, if the film doesn’t feature quality music why even bother going, right?! Considering upcoming release The Divergent has a soundtrack stuffed with some of your favorite artists, the studio gets two big thumbs up from me. In addition to the likes of Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky is also featured with In Distress. Encapsulating the futuristic, sci-fi vibe of the flick, French producer Gesaffelstein cooks up an electronic-based backdrop full of minimalist effects and heavy drums that cut right through the shrouded foundation. While the production isn’t your typical A$AP beat, Rocky isn’t fazed and works with the unique sound while remaining swift and surgical with his flow. The soundtrack is set to hit digital store shelves on March 11, ten days before The Divergent lands in a theater near you.
