Ashanti ft. Nelly - Switch

The Declaration

Having dated for more than three years, it is no secret that Ashanti and Nelly have good chemistry.  Walking through the footsteps of Beyonce and Jay-Z  (and Whitney and Bobby before that) the couple laid down the catchy buzz single, Switch, off Ashanti’s forthcoming return album, The Declaration.  As she always has in the past, Ashanti sticks to the vocal range she is most comfortable with and doesn’t try to be someone who she is not (see Beyonce.)  Complementing the first lady of The Inc. (formally known as Murda Inc.,) Nelly does his usual “Uhh”‘s and “Ohh”‘s and always seems ready to ask everyone to ‘take off their clothes.’  Although the formula didn’t exactly ‘switch’ it up, it does get hot in herre.
