Some artists submit their material for feature consideration with all the information we could ever need to pen a write-up, which is always nice, but Booth newcomer astronomyy is more or less a mystery. All we know is that he is a recording artist and producer from the UK, and that he’s excellent at both skillsets. I suspect, however, that it won’t be long until we know much more, because the unique style he showcases on Things I’d Do For U is sure to catch on like a wildfire. Behind the boards, he keeps it simple, sprinkling some clapping and subtle effects over a staggered guitar riff. His vocal performance is entrancing; it might be soft-spoken and feathery, but its poignant vibe is sure to stick with listeners. When we find out more about astronomyy—and believe me we will—you will be the first to know, so long as you keep those browsers locked on The DJBooth.
