Audible Doctor ft. Oddisee & Hassaan Mackey - The Vibe

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
The Audible Doctor
Album:
The Summer Tape

I love when producers opt to create a full project over an instrumental tape. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love a good beat, but there’s something about the fullness of adding quality rappers onto a track that takes the final product to a higher musical level. Booth regular Audible Doctor, in fact, does just this on his latest release, The Vibe, featuring DMV lyricist Oddisee, who you may know best from the three part collective Diamond District, and equally as potent spitter Hassaan Mackey. Right off the bat Oddisee’s vocals just glide expertly around Audible’s production, allowing the smooth jazzy background to get to the listener while complementing his quick fluttered flow. Hassaan takes a similar approach, which makes it obvious why the good Doctor would choose the two as his guests. If, like me, you can’t wait to hear the BBAS member’s upcoming project, then bookmark the The DJBooth for the full release of The Summer Tape, featuring Homeboy Sandman, Del the Funky Homosapien and more, and check back in before the fall begins.
