While AZ hasn’t made an appearance on our pages since dropping off My N*ggas back in March of 2012, the underground vet hasn’t been resting on his laurels in the meantime. Just the opposite; on We Movin’, single numero uno off his next studio album, the Brooklyn lyricist assures us that he’s been hustling ‘round the clock to maintain his position of power in the game. Boston heavyweight Statik Selektah handles production duties, crafting a lush, soul-sampled beat to back the emcee as he details the big moves he’s been making of late. Doe or Die II as yet lacks a drop date but, as always, we’ll keep you supplied with further singles and release details as they emerge.
