Featuring:
Producer:
Aldo
Album:
Bad Man's World

A lot of people like to say that they care about today’s youth growing up in an age riddled with economic collapse, the continuing narcotic (both illegal and prescription) epidemic and myriad of other obstacles. One group that puts their support where their heart is, is Los Angeles based organization SessionsLA, which uses hip-hop culture to educate youth about careers in music, social consciousness and gives them other much needed tools. Each year SessionsLA puts out an album to showcase the music the teachers create with their students and today’s selection showcases the harsh lives so many unfortunately have to deal with. History, which comes from L.A. emcee Bambu and features both a verse and production from Sessions’ student Aldo, highlights the struggle to break away from the negative cycles of your environment; plus it just flat out sounds dope. To help support SessionsLA’s mission be sure to check out their Bad Man’s World album, available now and check out History’s visuals!
