To say that Big Boi‘s been doing big things in the Booth lately would be a massive understatement – in fact, anticipation has been running so high for the Outkast member’s forthcoming solo set that we’ve decided to stop featuring any new tracks, for fear that our readers will get overstimulated. OK, OK, just kidding, I totally made that up. We’d never pass up featuring a track as fresh as Follow Us, the latest leaked cut off the long-awaited project. Backed by the stark, funk-i-fied boardwork of heavyweight producer Salaam Remi, the ATLien serves up all the hot rhymes and breakneck flows fans could ask for, ending the record be promising to “...put these lyrics up your ass so far you’ll never get the mic out.” Ouch. To top it all off, Purple Ribbon Representative rapper Kyle Lucas and his group, Vonnegutt, hop on board for an understated but catchy chorus. If you’re a fan of high-quality Southern hip-hop, I’m sure you already have Sir Lucious Left Foot‘s July 6, release date circled on your calendar. And if you’re not, well, I have no idea why you’re still reading this.
