Big Jess ft. Chaundon, Greg Grease & Metasota - Simple and Plain

Big Jess

Pop culture is littered with trilogies. From Star Wars to the Lakers of the early 00’s, great things always seem to come in threes. For producer Big Jess, though, three just doesn’t cut it, which is why he is releasing yet another installment in his Honorable Mention mixtape series. The title of the first single release off of Honorable Mention Vol. 4 might be Simple and Plain, but don’t let the title fool you. On this premiere Jess calls upon emcees Chaundon, Greg Grease and Metasota to rock his own cooked up snare and scratch based production. All three guests carry their weight, delving deep into their rhyming dictionaries and pulling out words that, when combined with their slick easygoing flows, resonate atop the beat. Like volumes 1,2, and 3, Honorable Mention Vol. 4 will be available for download via DJBooth (on 2/1).
