As I am sure all of you know (some from first hand experience), water and smart phones do not mix. Samsung Galaxy phones and Fire, by contrast, go hand in hand. Don’t go igniting your phone, though; just download Big Sean‘s latest effort, Fire. While the record can be freely downloaded by Galaxy owners (oh, “Hi” Jay Z), the rest of you can enjoy this charismatic record free of charge here at The DJBooth. Producer DJ Camper sets the mood, serving up a dense beat driven by a relentless, chopped vocal sample. While Sean’s flow is as laid-back as ever, he delivers his bars with more than enough power to make himself heard over the scorching instrumental. Fire will be featured on Sean’s upcoming sophomore album, Hall of Fame, due out August 27.
