Bigg Gipp - Skinny Chain

While the wait for Ali & Gipp’s Kinfolk (currently set for August 14) continues, Gipp offers up a solo cut to keep up our spirits.  The song, Skinny Chain, is a fun club anthem, where the Goodie Mob alum brags about all the diamonds he’s rocking and how he’s shining for everybody to see.  The track is duly complemented with a beat from Maestro (best known for Lil’ Wayne‘s Prostitute Flange), which combines simplistic percussions with the increasingly popular “fire alarm” effect.  Look for this to be a certified banger in the clubs, and to whet our appetite for whichever album (the one with Ali or Gipp’s solo venture) is on the way first.
