Bishop Nehru - Fickle Mind$

Producer:
Ghost Mcgrady
Album:

Without a steady stream of fresh material, an up-and-coming artist can fall off the radar just as quickly as he or she got on. To make sure Fickle Mind$ don’t move on to the next big thing while he’s between projects, 16-year-old Empire State buzzmaker Bishop Nehru has returned to our pages with a fresh video single off his March debut full-length. Kicked off with a thematically-appropriate quote from Tupac Shakur, this low-key banger finds Nehru rhyming about the value of independence and self-sufficiency over Ghost Mcgrady‘s hazy boom-bap boardwork. The artist’s own official visuals round out the package. Nehruvia is available now for free streaming and download in The DJBooth, and the emcee plans to unleash that project’s follow-up next month. Afterward, he’ll be hitting the road with the Wu-Tang Clan on their 20th Anniversary Tour, which begins in London on July 25.
