Black Dave - Take It Back

Producer:
Shy Guy
Album:

If you wanted to check out Black Dave’s last Booth feature, N.D.S, you would have to Take It Back a whole nine days. For those keeping score at home, this sly single makes him two-for-two in the last full month of summer. To complement Dave’s subtly gritty, brisk flow, Shy Guy cooks up a clean, chiming instrumental complete with a chopped vocal sample. Dave uses his sharp flow to assert his dominance on the mic as he takes us through a day in the life of a New York skater/rapper. He lands some verbal kickflips, but as for the actual skating, he might want to work on his speed, because his day doesn’t end as planned. Take It Back is slated to appear on the artist’s Black Bart tape, due out in September.
