Blue Gold - Make a Move

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
J. Glaze
Album:

While I never really got into Words With Friends, I still play Chess With Friends. It’s fun, but when I am waiting days upon days for a friend to Make a Move, it can get frustrating. Perhaps I should send them the freshly-minted debut feature from Blue Gold. Of course, this cut isn’t actually about Chess With Friends; instead, it depicts the newly-formed group’s frontman, J The S, Mak[ing] a Move on a lucky lady who has caught his attention. Accompanied by vocalists Franco Anthony and Joy Luv, J tells his future girl of his big plans for their relationship, exhibiting a seemingly effortless flow that she will be helpless to resist. Producer J. Glaze, a frequent collaborator of Emilio Rojas, provides a jazzy instrumental backdrop. Like what you’re hearing? Stay tuned; Blue Gold’s forthcoming EP, Candy Mouth, has yet to receive a drop date, but we’ll keep you supplied with further singles and release details as they emerge.

Update: Blue Gold’s Court Dunn-directed Make a Move visuals have been added.
