Blue Gold - The Hardest Part

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
J. Glaze
Album:

As those who copped the NYC crew’s debut EP already know, there’s nothing particularly taxing about listening to Blue Gold. The Hardest Part is reaching out and hitting play again after the EP’s over. Today, however, they’re ramping up the difficulty level; making its world premiere on our front page, the crew’s latest video will exercise your eyeballs as well as your ears. Director Raf Moses provides a poignant cinematic accompaniment to the record, which finds rhymesayer J The S reflecting on life’s hardships over J. Glaze‘s bittersweet, keyboard-driven grooves. Crewmate Joy Luv delivers a smooth, resassuring chorus. Featuring The Hardest Part and much more, the Candy Mouth EP is available for free streaming and download right here in The DJBooth.
