E.P.I.C.

With the release of his new mixtape E.P.I.C. on the horizon, ATL native son and outer space enthusiast B.o.B. is back on the scene with his lovely noise. Joining him on the vibrant 5 On The Kush are Bun B and Big K.R.I.T.; together they become the Three Musketeers of trunk music. If that trifecta of Southern rap royalty doesn’t excite you, I’m going to have to ask you to locate your nearest vacant NBA area and lock yourself in. Producer 2 Much crafts a melodic, energetic beat that is centered around a sample of 1970s soul group The Five Stairsteps’ We Must Be In Love that’s equal parts dreamy and trunk rattling, if you can imagine that. Put that on your sub and your ears will rejoice. While this isn’t the most obvious collabo on the planet, after hearing each stellar emcee do their thing I wouldn’t mind hearing more from Bobby, K.R.I.T. and Bun – an EP, with K.R.I.T. on the boards AND bars perhaps? Who do I speak to about making this happen? More importantly, how about you loyal DJBoothers? Is this a collaboration you’d like to hear more from? No release date for B.o.B’s E.P.I.C. mixtape as of yet, but we’ll keep you in the know once the info becomes available.
