Bobby Creekwater - Business Man

Posted 7 years ago
Producer:
the Invisible
Album:
The Day It All Made Sense

Back in February, fresh off the release of his B.C. Era mix-album, Bobby Creekwater joined me for an interview inside the DJBooth. We discussed, amongst many other topics, when fans could expect his Shady Records debut.  Creekwater said, “I work hard, and from hard work, you get out of it what you put into it,.” but, despite reeling off several albums’ worth of street-embraced material over the last five months, the Atlanta native is not any closer to the mainstream Promised Land.  Taking matters into his own hands, the emcee has decided to drop yet another project, The Day It All Made Sense, which is scheduled for release later this month.  The Invisible-produced lead single, Business Man, ehoes Creekwater’s hard-grinding mindstate (“I don’t need y’all, I can make my own way.”), but are the necessary evils listening?
