Bossman - Break Me Off

By | 7 years ago
Track: Break Me Off
Producer: One Up Entertainment
Album: Unreleased

In 1986, America was introduced to one of the catchiest commercial jingles ever created.  Thanks to Ken Shuldman and Michael A. Levine, the chocolaty-goodness of the world-famous Kit Kat bar received musical accompaniment with “Break Me Off A Piece.”  At some point since then, the expression “Break Me Off” became a euphemism for a sexual act, thus paving the way for its use as the title of Baltimore emcee Bossman’s newest record.  Previously featured inside the Booth on the remix to Jeremy Greene’s Rain, as well as his own Scola-assisted single, Ghetto, the B.O.S.S. has been waiting patiently for his next big break, following his departure from a brief stint on So So Def/Virgin.  Flanked by in-house producers at his longtime indie label, One Up Entertainment, Bossman is hoping he can break off a bit of national success in 2009.
