For the past two years, Opa Locka native Brisco has been talking about the impending release of his debut album, Street Medicine.  In fact, when he jumped inside the DJBooth for an interview in June of ’07, he noted that the album was almost a wrap, but for a few last-minute song selections.  Unfortunately, as the emcee has learned, even the best made plans can be foiled by unexpected obstacles.  Trying to turn his luck and hopefully secure a date on the 2009 Poe Boy release calendar, Brisco has turned to his fellow Floridians for help.  In an effort to give his current street single, Just Know That, an extra boost of energy, Ace Hood and Billy Blue join original holdover Flo Rida, and Mr. Beatz’ boardwork is swapped out for some slightly different up-tempo production courtesy of J Rock.  Brisco might not know when his album will drop, but we know that this remix won’t hurt his odds.
