Brown Bag AllStars ft. Akie Bermiss - Say It Now

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
J57, cuts by DeeJay Element
Album:
Brown Label Part 2

If anyone objects to Brown Bag All Stars’ conquest of the hip-hop game, may they Say It Now or forever heard their peace. It won’t change a damn thing of course, but it feels nice to get it out there, right? For the rest of us, who couldn’t be happier about their rise to prominence, I’m happy to present single number two off their latest EP. The follow-up to lead effort Rottweilers, this cut is a musical middle finger directed at all who would stand in the Brown-Baggers’ way. J57‘s street-ready loops set the stage for verses which find Soul Khan, Koncept and company emphasizing their immovability in the face of all obstacles, and delivering plenty of quotable trash talk to boot. DeeJay Element mans the wheels of steel, and singer Akie Bermiss contributes some taunting vocals to the chorus. Official visuals come courtesy of Pace Rivers. Fans can find Say It Now and many more quality cuts on the Booth-acclaimed crew’s Brown Label Part 2 EP, out now via Bandcamp.
