Bruno Mars ft. R. Kelly & Pharrell - Gorilla (G-Mix)

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
The Smeezingtons, Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie and Mark Ronson
Album:
Unorthodox Jukebox

The fourth single off Bruno Mars‘s sophomore full-length, Gorilla didn’t make it onto our front page in its original form, but we simply couldn’t ignore the guest muscle the Atlantic/Elektra Records recording artist’s assembled for the official remix—scratch that, G-Mix. Regardless of whether Pharrell Williams and R. Kelly qualify as ‘G’s (I’m leaning towards “no.”), they prove perfectly matched to this sensual cut, the former delivering some risqué rapped bars on the front and the latter lending his smooth vocal stylings to the record’s middle portion. Given that the project’s moved four million units since its release in December 2012, it’s a good bet you already own a copy of Unorthodox Jukebox. If not, you can still pick up Bruno Mars’s latest LP (featuring the album version of Gorilla and much more) wherever fine music is sold.
