Bubba Sparxxx ft. Dirt Reynolds - Beatin’ Down Da Block

Posted 8 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Dirt Reynolds
Album:
Untitled Fourth Studio Album

Set up by Timbaland on 2001’s Dark Days, Bright Nights (which featured the megahit Ugly), Bubba Sparxx was introduced as the ultimate music anomaly. I mean, who else had ever heard of a country-bred white rapper?  Over time, though, the novelty began to wear off and despite such hits as Deliverance, Back in the Mud (with Blink-182), and the phenomenal Ms. New Booty, Bubba wasn’t able to match his early success.  Now, with a distribution deal at Koch for his New South label, the ever-enterprising country boy is Beatin’ Down The Block.  Despite appearances from his talented protégés’ (Dirt Reynolds), Sparxx’ strongest assist, his swagger, remains unchanged.
