II Trill

On May 20, Bun B will release his new album, II Trill, a sequel to his debut and his first release since the untimely passing of his UGK partner, Pimp C, this past winter.  Though it has not officially been chosen as a single, the Lil’ Wayne-assisted Damn I’m Cold will be included as one of the LP’s 17 tracks.  On this Southern bi-regional power collaboration, Weezy and Bun discuss their frosty conditions due to all the iced out purchases they’ve made with their big bucks.  Concocted by unheralded veteran CHOPS, the mellow, bluesy feel of the track allows for both MCs to lyrically dominate each and every moment they spend spitting.  This one may have been cold, but one listen to Bun’s new album and you just might get burned.
