BURNTmd ft. DJ Grazzhoppa - Opium Guide

Producer:
Reef Ali
Album:

Hip-hop is no stranger to drug use. Some, like Snoop, prefer to roll up a J, while others prefer pill popping to get the mood right. I have to say, though, BURNTmd’s new single is only the second tune (see Krondon’s Opium Tea) I have heard directly referencing Opium. Opium Guide plays host a trippy, haunting beat, courtesy of producer Reef Ali, which is centered around a spooky riff and a few well placed samples by DJ Grazzhoppa, setting the mood for BURNT’s unapologetic flow. The Brooklyn native’s raw mic demeanor and graphic wordplay are the perfect fit for the production, making Opium Guide a very solid listen. Opium Guide can be found on BURNT’s forthcoming project The Green Invasion, for which no drop date has yet been set.
