Busdriver ft. Pegasus Warning - Colonize the Moon

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Riley Lake, Busdriver
Album:
Ego Death

Back in June, we heard Busdriver light the fuse on his sixth solo set with Ego Death, a lead single and title track which saw him trading motormouthed verses with equally eccentric mic-murderers Aesop Rock and Danny Brown. Now, he’s back to Colonize the Moon on the freshly-released follow-up. Thanks to Busdriver and Riley Lake‘s atmospheric synth boardwork, this joint has a less frenetic feel than its predecessor, but the Cali rhymesayer’s ideas still flow at a mile a minute. In between his verses which, bring together a startling array of disparate ideas and images, alt-R&B singer Pegasus Warning delivers a dreamy guest hook. Like what you’re hearing? Then keep it locked for more fresh singles leading up to the September 9, arrival of Perfect Hair.
