Calez - Thxs X Thxt

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Tye Hill
Album:
Ceito

Five months after unleashing his Too Broke tape, Windy City rhymesayer Calez has buckled down to work on the follow-up. What can fans expect from the set? Oh, a little bit of Thxs and a little bit of Thxt. If that’s not specific enough for you, the inaugural song release offers a more concrete indication of where the BRKF$T CLUB member’s head is at. Tye Hill mans the boards, serving up an ominous keyboard-loop groove that builds to an all-out percussion assault on the hook. Heralded by a Backseat Freestyle-inspired false start and a cameo appearance from the I Am a God scream, Calez’s braggadocious bars are every bit as grimy as the instrumental backdrop. Like what you’re hearing? Then stay tuned; Ceito currently lacks a drop date, but we’ll keep you posted as further details emerge.
