Camm Hunter - Idol

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Marty Martino
Album:
None (Promo Single)

No, Camm Hunter‘s latest feature isn’t a hip-hop tribute to Billy Idol—even though the ‘80s pop star is featured in the image on the left. As the T-Dot native explains on this freshly-minted promo single, he worships no man but himself: ”I’ll look in the mirror if I ever need an idol.” To back the Down With Webster frontman as he touts his musical prowess (along with his prodigious appetite for weed and liquor), producer Marty Martino crafts a slow-burning synth beat with a trap edge. Samples from Dragonball Z and The Wedding Singer contribute to the cut’s unique flavor. While this joint is just a loosie, fans craving more are encouraged to check out Camm’s last feature, late June’s Something Else.
