Carlyle ft. Freeway - Never Go

Posted 5 years ago
None (Promo Single)

What a difference four months can make! Though Carlyle‘s late-May Booth debut saw him attempting to smooth-talk a shawty into trading her dusty old man in for a Replacement (i.e. Carlyle himself), new promo cut Never Go finds him singing a very different tune; now that he’s found a girl he thinks could be “the one,” he’s not about to trade their love for anything in the world. With label bosses Oddz.N.Endz’ string-drenched, hip-hop-informed production as his backdrop, he assures her that no dime piece could ever usurp her place in his heart: “Might look at other chicks, but you hold down the throne.” Bookending the headliner’s impassioned declarations of love and devotion, Freeway continues to buck his traditional hard-nosed, gangster image with guest verses as sentimental as they are dope: ”You my lady, you complete me like a puzzle, I love it when we cuddle.” Need more Carlyle in your life? This joint is currently unattached to any forthcoming project, fans can keep their browsers locked to the Booth for all the latest from this talented up-and-comer.
