Casey Veggies ft. Phil Beaudreau - Life Changes

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
The Futuristiks and Dawaun Parker
Album:

On his latest Booth visit, Casey Veggies speaks the truth. In fact, the title alone, Life Changes, might be an understatement. On the lead track off his recently-released free album, Veggies slows it down, using a hazy, ambient production from The Futuristiks and Dawaun Parker and the chopped vocals of guest Phil Beaudreau as his foundation. While Veggies is mostly known for a feel good, kushed-out style, the Los Angeles native takes a more introspective approach on Changes, spitting about the curve-balls and change-ups the game of life throws your way with his syrupy, pensive flow. Change is inevitable, but hopefully Veggies’ ability to connect to his audience despite a more low-key style does’t cause a disconnect. Digging this? Then be sure to check out the Life Changes album, available for stream and download right here at The DJBooth.
