This Perfect Life

No background information is needed here—if you’re an avid follower of hip-hop with an Internet connection, you know all about Charles Hamilton.  Now, after 16 mixtapes and 12 Booth appearances, the Interscope signee is ready to kick off promotion for his debut studio album, This Perfect Life.  On the official lead single, Sonic relates his 4-minute, 14-second life story to Barbara Walters, detailing his birth in Cleveland, his troubled youth and drug experimentation in Harlem to his growth into a hip-hop buzzmaker under the mentorship of Demevolist founder Howard Burke.   In today’s music industry, an in-depth narrative may not be the most obvious choice for a first single, but the record should get him plenty of respect from true fans.  Thus, you can expect Barbara Walters to earn a coveted spot on our charts, and raise Booth anticipation for This Perfect Life‘s June 23rd release.
