Charles Hamilton - November 10

Sonic the Hamilton (Bonus Track)

Two days ago, on November 10, Booth-acclaimed artist Charles Hamilton celebrated his all-important 21st birthday; yesterday, Harlem’s king of creativity released his newest mixtape, Sonic the Hamilton (which is available for free download here), complete with plenty of his trademark eclecticism.  With November 10, the man of the hour has concocted a buzz-single-worthy record, thanks to a more focused, yet still swagger-filled flow; incredibly, it was placed as a bonus track.  In keeping with Hamilton’s tradition of employing unusual samples (see Windows Media Player or The N Word), the beat used on November 10 is taken from the soundtrack of the emcee’s favorite video game (if you don’t know which game we’re talking about, please remove the giant rock from above your head).  Since Interscope has already realized what a strong talent they have on their hands, watch out for an incredible ‘09 promotional push.
