Chase N. Cashe - Watch Me

Posted about 4 years ago
Producer:
Burdy Lo
Album:
None (Promo Single)

If a rapper shows off and no one’s there to witness, can he truly call himself a baller? Knowing that stunting is as much in the eye of the beholder as it is in the stunting itself, Chase N. Cache calls on everyone within earshot to feast their eyes on his flyness on Watch Me, one of two freebies released by the Surf Club member via Twitter this past weekend. (Its companion piece, Poker Faces hasn’t been featured in the Booth.) Here, Burdy Lo‘s springy guitar loops and trap percussion provide a fitting backdrop for verses depicting the leisure-time activities Cashe engages in when he’s not hustling his way toward that mil. Fresh off Drake‘s Club Paradise tour (which also featured Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky), the artist doesn’t have any forthcoming projects on the docket, but we in the Booth will keep you apprised of all future developments.
