Chronicles of a Rebel

The world’s most thorough borough has been chronicled on verse by Chen Lo and his cohorts, Damaja D and Mo Betta Blues. With those ever-present drums from I’m Glad You’re Mines, the trio flips the Story To Tell sample with effortless perfection to describe the only place in New York known as a planet. Listeners take the A train with Chen Lo, whose album, Chronicles of a Rebel, will look to catch the attention of heads this November 4th.  Though NYC anthems have fallen on hard times since Fat Joe’s New York, the fellas manage to induce a strong head nod to rep for the home of Biggie, Jay and Michael Jordan. From Bed-Stuy to Brownsville, the hoods will pump this ill concoction, crafted by producer Kallisto, who lets everyone know that this is not “Mr. Roger’s neighborhood.” DJBooth can only sit back and spread love… it’s the Brooklyn way!
