None (Promo Single)

In today’s digital, over-saturated world it can be nearly impossible to grab someone’s attention. Seriously, how can you expect someone to listen to your new song when every naked woman you’d ever want to see are two clicks away? Well, two white guys releasing a new video/promo single titled Black Girls is one way to grab some attention. Chester French’s new self-described ode to interracial love, produced by French members Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach, Black Girls is a purely rock infused cut that sounds more inspired by the White Stripes and the Black Keys that Kanye and Jay-Z. Vocally, the French men follow the instrumental’s lead, unleashing unapologetic and aggressive vocals that spell out the track’s not-so-subtle mission statement: “This ain’t no fetish, ain’t objectifying no one / but ignoramuses keep looking my direction, / they’re so frustrated I don’t keep it in the race.” Yep, that’ll get the people talking. So how about it DJBooth Nathan? Did Chester French bring the music to back their provocative title? We’ll find out soon in the comments and ratings below.
