Chevy Woods - Circumstances

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
I.D. Labs
Album:
Gangland

Taylor Gang member Chevy Woods may occasionally indulge in a little red wine and room service in the visuals for Circumstances, but that by no means depicts the tone of the intensely real record. Despite some artists’ need to depict a certain falsified lifestyle in their rhymes, the Pittsburgh emcee tells it like it is as he speaks on hustling to survive and other grim circumstances on the I.D. Labs-produced record. The accompanying music video for Circumstances is equally real and reflective, thanks to a combination of performance footage and pensive clips of the rapper holed up in a hotel room. You can expect a heaping helping of similarly real cuts on Woods’ Gangland mixtape, which was released in June.
